Acquiring dwelt upon the need for, and nature of, searching for ma‘rifah of Allah, Ibn Rajab then states: “Allah’s ma‘rifah of His servants is also of two levels: A basic recognition, which refers to His expertise in His servants and His consciousness of all which they do: no
